Formerly The Floridan, Hillsborough County’s only existing grand historic hotel and business hotel and was designed by Tampa’s own Francis Joseph Kennard who is also behind Tampa’s Hillsborough High School and St. Andrews Episcopal Church, plus Belleair’s Belleview-Biltmore Hotel.
The equally significant former Sapphire Lounge (now The Dan) is on the ground floor and has been visited by Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and more.
